Tenant Checkout List
Use this checklist to prepare your home for move-out. Your lease and written move-out instructions from Laboy Group control all deadlines and requirements.
Before You Move
- Review your lease and any written move-out notice requirements.
- Provide required notice to Laboy Group in writing.
- Confirm your move-out date and instructions with the management team.
- Update your forwarding address and contact information.
- Schedule utilities and service transfers or cancellations as appropriate for your home.
Clean & Prepare the Home
- Remove all personal belongings, trash, and food from the home, storage areas, and outdoor spaces you use.
- Clean floors, counters, appliances, bathrooms, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Remove wall hangings and repair minor nail holes only when permitted by your written instructions.
- Replace burned-out bulbs and report any damage or repair concerns before leaving.
- Do not leave furniture, bags, or unwanted items for pickup unless you have written approval.
Final Walk-Through & Return Items
- Take dated photos or video of the home after it is empty and cleaned.
- Follow Laboy Group’s written instructions for the final inspection or walk-through.
- Return all keys, fobs, parking passes, mailbox keys, garage remotes, and other access devices as instructed.
- Confirm that Laboy Group has your forwarding address for future correspondence.
